available on newsstands in mid-February… Freeskier is
a young independent publication that has been a pioneer

Product News: "Moon Pad"
Based upon feed back
we have received from you the users of MoonDawg,
we have introduced a smaller and lighter version
of the original MoonDawg. The new Moon Pad is
20"x 20" and weighs 2 ounces and can
be used in many applications where only (1) Moon
needs to be protected.
It can be rolled and folded into a compact size
of 10" x 3.5" for a fanny pack, backpack,
pocket or purse.

Susan
Medville takes 4th Place in the Canadian Freeskiing
Championships
MoonDawger extreme athlete,
Susan Medville of Crested Butte , CO competed in the
Canadian Freeskiing Championships in Whistler, BC Jan.
7-10. Susan took 4th place overall in the Womens event
and established herself as one of the top competitors
in the world.
Over the last five years,
this event has become a showcase for the sport of freeskiing.
The worlds top big mountain skiers come to Whistler-Blackcomb
to take on some of the steepest, and wickedest terrain
in North America….its a competition that strays from
man-made race courses, and instead works with the mountain's
natural features. CFC competitors choose cliffs, steep
terrain, and speed to increase the difficulty and technicality
of their run.
You can catch up with Susan
at the US Freeskiing Championships from Snowbird, UT
in early Feb, and the US Extreme Skiing Championships
from Crested Butte, CO in late Feb…
